Information Regarding Your Economic Impact Payment

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was passed by Congress and signed into law by the President on March 27th, 2020. The CARES Act will provide an Economic Impact Payment, in the form of either a direct deposit or check, to most U.S. residents. For eligibility requirements and details on Economic Impact payments please click here.

If you qualify and have filed a 2019 or 2018 tax return, and the IRS already has your direct deposit information:
The Economic Impact Payment will be deposited directly into the same banking account reflected on the tax return you filed. You do not need to take any further action.

If you qualify and have filed a 2019 or 2018 tax return, and the IRS does not have your bank account information:
The IRS has established an online portal where you can provide this information. For more information, please visit the IRS website.

If you received your 2019 or 2018 tax refund via check in the mail:
The IRS will mail the stimulus check to the physical address on file. You can easily deposit the stimulus check to your GNO account using the ezDeposit feature on the GNO FCU Mobile App. For more information on ezDeposit click here.

The first stimulus deposits began on April 14, 2020:
Payments are being distributed by the IRS in waves. If someone you know has received their payment, but you haven’t, there is no cause for concern. Track your payment on the IRS website by clicking here and monitor its deposit into your GNO account anytime 24/7 through Home Banking or on our Mobile Banking App. If you haven’t signed up for Home Banking or downloaded the GNO Mobile App yet, call our Call Center at 454-8224, they’ll be happy to assist you.
