Our Metairie and Mid-City branches will be open for regular business hours beginning on Monday, September 13th.

Our Harvey branch will re-open Tuesday, September 14th for regular business hours.

ATM’s at our Metairie and Harvey branches are available, and we are working to have our Mid-City ATM up and running soon.

Expect there to be long lines as we not only service you, but also other credit union members in the area who need cash as well. Within the next week, we hope to be able to provide virtual appointments for you to visit with our staff. Once Entergy has restored power, we will work with our staff to get our other branches opened and operational. Our Mid-City drive-thru will be open for cars and walk up Thursday, September 8th – Saturday, September 11th  from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm to assist with your cash needs. The branch lobby remains closed at this time. 

Our ATM’s at our Metairie and Harvey branches are available. Due to unforeseen circumstances the drive-thru and lobby at these locations are closed.

Dear Members,
We want you to know that we are here for you through these challenging times. Effective today, if your loan payment was no more than 45 days past due, we have bumped your due date ahead 30 days, giving you the freedom to use your funds to continue to meet your basic needs.
For mortgage loan assistance, please contact Brandy at bboudreaux@gnofcu.com. If you need further payment assistance, we will continue to work with you, providing personal service, as we always do.
We continue to operate with very limited staff; most are displaced due to damaged homes and lack of resources, just as you may be. Please continue to be patient with us as we work diligently to meet all your needs.
We are offering emergency loans at a rate of 5.00% apr* with no payment due for 60 days. You can apply online by clicking HERE.

It will take approximately 48 hours for the loan to be processed. Funds will be disbursed once you have signed electronically, so please be certain to use your valid email address that we already have on file here at your credit union.

Throughout, we have remained in contact with many of our members using our personal cell phones as services became available and we have responded to all email inquiries as quickly as possible. Please continue to reach out via email and continue to leave phone messages and we will get back with you as soon as we can. Within the next week, we hope to be able to provide virtual appointments for you to visit with staff and once Entergy has restored power, we will work with our staff to get our other branches opened and operational and as more resources become available. Dear Members,
We want you to know that we are here with you as we all begin the difficult task of recovery. I pray that you, your family, friends, and coworkers made it through the storm safely and that you have suffered minimal damage. For those of you that suffered extensive damage, I pray that you can recover quickly. We will all need to rely on each other as we walk through this together, being patient with each other and supporting each other as we rebuild together.
As you know, both Orleans and Jefferson Parishes are without power and water. When that will be restored is unknown; some estimates are between 30 – 60 days. Most of our staff, like you, are under evacuation orders and displaced. We were all advised not to return until it was safe to do so, so I implore you to follow those guidelines. Please know that our GNO staff have been working diligently to keep our digital services operational. Home and mobile banking are both functioning, debit and credit cards are working, and all ACH transactions, including deposits, will be posted as normal. Once we have accounted for all staff, we will have our lending personnel processing loan requests to keep funds in your hands. This will be a long process for all involved as we all work to rebuild; please be patient with the process.
