GNO FCU is excited to share that we are joining our fellow credit unions in Louisiana to celebrate Shared Branching Awareness Week May 22-26. Throughout the week, we will be reminding 1.3 million members across the state of this added value that makes life easier.

GNO FCU has proudly partnered with other credit unions across the country to provide you convenient access to accounts and money, creating the Shared Branching network that allows members of other credit unions use their branches to conduct basic transactions. What does that mean for you? You can conduct transactions at more than 5,000 locations nationwide including more than 170 here in Louisiana. When you are across town and cant get to your branch or you’re relocated due to a natural disaster, your credit unions remains accessible because of Shared Branching.

In addition, we are excited to share that Governor John B. Edwards sees the value in shared branching and has officially proclaimed May 22-26 as Shared Branching Week in Louisiana.
