How To Join

With $8.00 and a completed membership application, eligible individuals can open a share savings account. This $8.00 makes up your $5 membership deposit and a one-time membership fee of $3. Your deposit represents your share in the Credit Union and must remain in the account for the duration of your membership.

"Once a member, always a member." If you retire, change jobs, or move, that doesn’t mean you have to close your account. Membership is designed to last a lifetime. Once the share savings account is open, you are free to take advantage of all the products and services we offer. Your family members are also eligible to join at this time.

Those who meet the eligibility requirements may join GNO Federal Credit Union. There are four convenient ways to establish membership:

Account Officers are available at any of our branches and they will make opening a GNO Federal Credit Union account an easy experience. To open an account you need to bring one form of ID and your Social Security Number.

In Person at a

Acceptable forms of ID include:

Drivers License or State ID

Passport

Military ID

You will need cash or a check for at least $8.00 payable to GNO Federal Credit Union. This includes $5.00 to open a share account and a one-time $3.00 membership fee.

If you choose, you may also open a checking account with us! The minimum deposit to open a checking account is $50.00.
Online:
Membership may be applied for online right here! Once we receive your online application, we will contact you for your other necessary documents to get membership started including your proof of identification and your minimum deposit.
By Mail:
Complete the Membership card in full (download one here or pick one up at a branch near you), signing where indicated. Include a photocopy of your driver's license (or other valid picture identification). Enclose a check in the amount of at least $8.00 payable to GNO Federal Credit Union.
